After 11 years away and so many changes I am finally heading home. My British-born husband got his visa after five months of stress and worry. I really cannot believe what a difficult process this has been.
We sold our home in early November 2009, and have been in limbo trying to decide where to go and what to do. We are really glad that we had so much time wandering Europe, we had a tough time in France, but made two amazing friends that made it all worthwhile. Italy was wonderful, we were in paradise for 2 1/2 months, and now we are off to Australia.
We will be going via the States, where we will spend 11 days before flying to New Zealand for a few days and finally on to Australia.
